Since the heinous terrorist attacks on the State of Israel on October 7th and the ensuing war, Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital, located only 16 miles from the border with Gaza, has treated hundreds of wounded terror victims, and heroes with varying degrees of serious injuries including IDF combat soldiers, Nova party survivors, Gaza envelope community victims, police and security forces, and civilians.
Israel is facing a historic crisis, both on the battlefield and within the hearts and minds of its people. The scars of war run deep, both physically and emotionally, leaving a nation in desperate need of healing and renewal.
In response, Assuta Ashdod is establishing a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Southern Israel offering cutting-edge support for physical and emotional recovery. From wounded IDF soldiers to terror-affected civilians, from families torn apart by tragedy to children and teenagers grappling with trauma, this center will be a game changer for Southern Israel to those affected by the aftermath of the war.
